Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Neuroscience, Neuropharmacology, Pharmacology, or Molecular Biology. Experience with stereotaxic injections as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research experience in neuroscience and/or molecular biology.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator in the Department of Anesthesiology. The incumbent will conduct research in brain endocannabinoid signaling and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University. The Postdoctoral Associate will need to possess good interpersonal communication including competency in the English language. Efficient organization, time management skills, and interest in working in a collaborative research environment is essential for this role.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
