Associate or Full Professor: Pediatric Neurosurgeon Division Chief

The Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University seeks a full-time pediatric neurosurgeon at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the University Medical Line, depending on qualifications, based primarily at Stanford University Medical Center and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. This recruit is for the pediatric neurosurgery division chief role.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the
University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The candidate must be board-certified from the ABNS in pediatric neurosurgery, and eligible for a California medical license. It is expected that the candidate will have special interest and expertise in pediatric neurosurgery. It is also expected that the candidate will continue to expand the Pediatric Neurosurgery Program at Stanford and develop an academic career with responsibilities including patient care, teaching, and clinical or laboratory research. It is expected that the candidate will become the division chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Stanford. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
