The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex spine surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include spine surgery, including reconstructive and deformity surgery.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical research in spine surgery.
