Position Description
Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions
Candidate is expected to conduct productive and programmatic research, compete for extramural research funding, teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses, mentor graduate students, and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession. The anticipated starting date is August 19, 2023.

Required Qualifications
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Demonstrated record of effectiveness as a teacher, a record of peer reviewed publication and/or peer-reviewed creative activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of study, to the candidates intellectual and artistic development, and to the quality of the academic enterprise; a record of professional service appropriate to the discipline; promise of growth in teaching and research or artistic and creative activity.

Preferred Qualifications
We have one opening for a faculty member in Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience. We are seeking candidates with strong research programs that incorporate a multi-methods approach, including especially fMRI and/or computational modeling. Topics of research within cognition and neuroscience are open, but we especially encourage applications from researchers who examine relationships between cognition and health, broadly defined. The successful candidate will be expected to train graduate students on neuroscientific methods and lend neuroscientific expertise to collaborations with other faculty.
